Job Title: Operations Planner
Reporting Into: Structures Manager
Direct Reports: N/A
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Job Objective:
The Ops planner is responsible for coordinating and organizing various aspects of the organization’s operations (manpower and machinery) to ensure efficiency and increased productivity of staff being assigned to various projects/sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and allocate resources such as personnel, equipment, and materials to meet operational needs effectively ensuring optimal utilization and cost-effectiveness.
- Identify areas for improvement within existing operational processes and develop solutions to streamline operations, increase productivity and enhance quality.
- Oversee and manage projects, including coordinating resources, setting project timelines, monitoring progress and ensure successful execution in line with the budget and within time constraints.
- Collect, analyze and interpret operational data to identify trends, patterns and areas for potential improvement. Use data-driven insights to make recommendations and implement necessary changes.
- Identify potential risks to operations and develop contingency plans to mitigate their impact.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, departments, and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication, coordination, and alignment of operational activities.
- Create and maintain accurate documentation of operational processes, procedures and policies to ensure clarity, consistency and ease of reference.
- Identify operational challenges and proactively develop innovative solutions to address them, considering factors such as time, resources, and constraints.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills (English and Urdu)

Technical
- The ability to work well with cross-functional teams and departments.
- Capable of analyzing data, identifying trends and drawing meaningful insights crucial for making informed decisions and developing strategies to optimize operations.
- Effective time management skills
- Adaptable and flexible in the face of changing circumstances
Education and Experience:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel at a minimum)
- 3 – 5 years experience as an operations planner in a similar industry.
- No formal education is mandatory for this role.
